Secret Doors & Statement Pieces: A Remodel with Personality

We’re excited to share one of our favorite recent remodels, a project that perfectly captures what we love to do: blend high-end design with custom craftsmanship to create spaces that truly feel like home. At Liberty Homes, we take pride in creating spaces that will elevate your lifestyle — and our latest kitchen and bathroom remodel is no exception.

At the heart of the kitchen sits a gas Wolf range, complete with a pot filler faucet for ultimate convenience. It's framed by a custom-built range hood—one of our favorite features—designed to both anchor the space and elevate its overall aesthetic. The countertops were crafted from elegant quartz, providing a durable yet beautiful workspace, while a custom-panel Sub-Zero refrigerator ensures that every inch of the kitchen reflects the same tailored aesthetic. The room is bright and airy, thanks to vaulted ceiling and the addition of premium Marvin windows—flooding the space with natural light and highlighting every thoughtful detail.

Step into the bathroom—if you can find it. Hidden behind a sleek, secret panel door you'll find a beautifully modern design featuring a floating vanity, a striking brick accent wall, and blue hexagon tile flooring that adds just the right pop of color.

This Cape-style kitchen was once dark, cramped, and dated, but the homeowners dreamed of something bright and welcoming. We opened up the layout, added larger windows, and let natural light flood the space. Crisp white cabinets now reflect that light beautifully and pair perfectly with the home’s warm wood tones. A small breakfast nook adds a cozy spot for morning coffee or casual meals, while playful pops of color bring personality and charm. The result is a light, cheerful kitchen that feels fresh, open, and perfectly in tune with the home’s mid-century character. Interested in transforming your space? When you love your neighborhood but need more space, the smartest move isn’t always packing up and leaving, sometimes it’s building up. That’s exactly what our Holliston clients decided to do with their growing family. Rather than searching for a new home, they chose to reimagine their existing space by converting their attic into a stunning third floor master suite, complete with a walk in wardrobe and master bath. On the main floor, we gave the existing powder room a fresh look with new cabinets and wallpaper. Just off the kitchen, we added a butler’s pantry featuring sleek black cabinetry and gold hardware. This renovation gave our clients the extra room they needed without leaving the neighborhood they love. With the third-floor addition and stylish updates downstairs, their home now feels complete! Thinking about making more room in your home without moving? Whether it’s an attic conversion, an addition, or a dream kitchen, we’d love to help bring your vision to life! Green Kitchen Cabinets - The New Must-Have! Green is having a major moment in kitchen design, and for good reason. Just take a look at this stunning kitchen renovation project that we just completed in Sudbury, MA. A perfect example of how green cabinets can strike the right balance between trend-forward and timeless. Our client chose custom made sage green island cabinetry paired with crisp white quartz countertops and matte black hardware. The color feels fresh, clean, and modern without being stark. It adds personality without overpowering the rest of the design. And what really brings it together is the soft green tile backsplash echoing the island hue, layered under plenty of natural light and topped off with elegant brass fixtures and glass globe pendants. Why homeowners are leaning green? Versatility: Green pairs beautifully with neutrals, woods, brass, and even bold colors. Connection to nature: Earthy tones like sage and olive bring a calming, organic vibe indoors. Subtle drama: It’s a color choice that makes a statement, but still plays well with others. Whether you're doing a full remodel or just considering a cabinet refresh, green is a shade worth exploring. It’s bold but livable, trendy yet enduring, and in a space like the kitchen, that’s the sweet spot. Want help designing a kitchen that looks and feels just right? Let’s talk!
