Converting an Attic into a Master Bedroom Suite

The attic is often a neglected and forgotten space in a home, but with a little creativity and investment, it can be transformed into the ultimate master bedroom loft suite. Our client needed more living space to accommodate their growing family so we converted this attic into a spacious master bedroom, complete with an en suite bathroom.

Here are some features to consider when converting your attic:

Vaulted Ceilings with Skylights

Vaulted ceilings with skylights are a popular design feature in attic conversions. They create an airy and spacious feel, while also allowing for natural light to flood the room.

Closet Space

One of the most requested features in a master bedroom renovation is ample closet space. In a loft conversion, you can take advantage of the unique space and add built-in closets and shelves that will not only provide you with a great amount of storage but also helps to maximize the space. Make the most of this by installing custom shelving and hanging rods to maximize your storage space.

En Suite Bathroom

An en suite bathroom is a must-have for a master bedroom, and it's especially important when your bedroom is in the attic. On this project we created a spa-like atmosphere by installing a large shower with subway tile and Carrara white marble hexagon mosaic tile. These materials are both durable and beautiful, and they will add a luxurious touch to any bathroom.

Window Seat

A window seat is a great addition to any master bedroom and will provide a cozy place to relax and enjoy the natural light that streams in through the window.

Hidden Built In TV

Consider installing a hidden TV that can be concealed inside a wall with a TV lift mechanism or or framing it as a piece of artwork.  This way, you can enjoy your favorite shows without sacrificing the aesthetic of your room.

Statement pieces

To finish of this project and add a touch of glamour, we installed a contemporary glass designer bubble chandelier. Not only does it illuminate the room beautifully , but it also acts as a stunning focal point.

Green Kitchen Cabinets - The New Must-Have! Green is having a major moment in kitchen design, and for good reason. Just take a look at this stunning kitchen renovation project that we just completed in Sudbury, MA. A perfect example of how green cabinets can strike the right balance between trend-forward and timeless. Our client chose custom made sage green island cabinetry paired with crisp white quartz countertops and matte black hardware. The color feels fresh, clean, and modern without being stark. It adds personality without overpowering the rest of the design. And what really brings it together is the soft green tile backsplash echoing the island hue, layered under plenty of natural light and topped off with elegant brass fixtures and glass globe pendants. Why homeowners are leaning green? Versatility: Green pairs beautifully with neutrals, woods, brass, and even bold colors. Connection to nature: Earthy tones like sage and olive bring a calming, organic vibe indoors. Subtle drama: It’s a color choice that makes a statement, but still plays well with others. Whether you're doing a full remodel or just considering a cabinet refresh, green is a shade worth exploring. It’s bold but livable, trendy yet enduring, and in a space like the kitchen, that’s the sweet spot. Want help designing a kitchen that looks and feels just right? Let’s talk! A Kitchen That Just Works (and Looks Amazing Doing It) When your kitchen looks this good, cooking actually becomes fun! Sharing this incredible kitchen renovation that we just completed in Sudbury, MA. The soft blue island and that incredible blue-veined marble backsplash might steal the spotlight, but the real magic is in the details you don’t see right away. Everything has its place, no more digging through messy drawers or wondering where you stashed the mixer. Custom plate storage keeps dishes neat, a hidden appliance garage clears the clutter, and a dedicated coffee bar makes mornings smoother. Tiered drawers, wooden peg dividers, and heavy-duty soft-close hardware mean even your biggest pots and pans are easy to grab and put away. Our client is thrilled with the results, and say it’s become the heart of their home. To see why, scroll down to check out some of our favorite features from the project.
