Ground Floor Renovation Project - Sudbury MA

office • May 5, 2023

Renovating a home can be a daunting task, but the end result is always worth the effort! Recently, we had the pleasure of working on a first floor house renovation in Sudbury MA. The homeowners were looking to update their kitchen and bathrooms, as well as create an open plan space and we were thrilled to help bring their vision to life.

The kitchen renovation was the centerpiece of the project, and we were excited to transform the space. We started by replacing the old cabinets with off-white shaker-style cabinets. Shaker style cabinets are a popular choice because they provide clean lines and a versatile look that works well in any style kitchen.  The leather finish natural stone countertops provide a durable surface that is both functional and beautiful. They are both heat and scratch resistant, making them a great option for a high-use kitchen. The matte finish of the countertops gives a subtle texture that adds depth to the kitchen design. For the finishing touches, we added  black pulls to the cabinets, a subway tile backsplash and a farmhouse sink.

The bathrooms were also completely transformed with the addition of warm wood cabinets and quartz countertops. The warm wood cabinets and quartz countertops provide a luxurious feel to the space, while the black-rimmed mirrors and sconces add a modern touch.

Green Kitchen Cabinets - The New Must-Have! Green is having a major moment in kitchen design, and for good reason. Just take a look at this stunning kitchen renovation project that we just completed in Sudbury, MA. A perfect example of how green cabinets can strike the right balance between trend-forward and timeless. Our client chose custom made sage green island cabinetry paired with crisp white quartz countertops and matte black hardware. The color feels fresh, clean, and modern without being stark. It adds personality without overpowering the rest of the design. And what really brings it together is the soft green tile backsplash echoing the island hue, layered under plenty of natural light and topped off with elegant brass fixtures and glass globe pendants. Why homeowners are leaning green? Versatility: Green pairs beautifully with neutrals, woods, brass, and even bold colors. Connection to nature: Earthy tones like sage and olive bring a calming, organic vibe indoors. Subtle drama: It’s a color choice that makes a statement, but still plays well with others. Whether you're doing a full remodel or just considering a cabinet refresh, green is a shade worth exploring. It’s bold but livable, trendy yet enduring, and in a space like the kitchen, that’s the sweet spot. Want help designing a kitchen that looks and feels just right? Let’s talk! A Kitchen That Just Works (and Looks Amazing Doing It) When your kitchen looks this good, cooking actually becomes fun! Sharing this incredible kitchen renovation that we just completed in Sudbury, MA. The soft blue island and that incredible blue-veined marble backsplash might steal the spotlight, but the real magic is in the details you don’t see right away. Everything has its place, no more digging through messy drawers or wondering where you stashed the mixer. Custom plate storage keeps dishes neat, a hidden appliance garage clears the clutter, and a dedicated coffee bar makes mornings smoother. Tiered drawers, wooden peg dividers, and heavy-duty soft-close hardware mean even your biggest pots and pans are easy to grab and put away. Our client is thrilled with the results, and say it’s become the heart of their home. To see why, scroll down to check out some of our favorite features from the project.
