We recently had the pleasure of completing this stunning master bathroom renovation for a wonderful client who is also a close friend. After an in-depth consultation, we developed a design plan centered around warm tones, natural textures, and elevated finishes. We began with the freestanding soaking tub as the heart of the design, building the entire space around it. From there, we installed a custom fluted vanity in a warm wood tone paired with brushed brass hardware throughout, including faucets, sconces, towel bars, and shower fixtures, creating a cohesive, polished look at every touchpoint. The frameless glass walk-in shower features floor-to-ceiling marble-look tile, while white quartz countertops and custom floating shelving complete the refined aesthetic. Master and Family Bathroom Renovation

This master bathroom remodel in Sudbury came together beautifully, and we love how cohesive and welcoming the space feels, from the reeded double vanity to the spacious walk-in shower!

We also renovated the kids’ bathroom, creating a space that’s bright, fun, and built to last. It features a custom white double vanity with plenty of storage, a white stone countertop with dual undermount sinks, and polished nickel faucets that are easy for kids to use. We used a soft green patterned wallpaper, round mirrors, and woven-shade sconces add warmth and personality, while adding wainscoting and light tile flooring keep the room practical and easy to maintain.

Our client had one last request, a walk-in wardrobe / laundry area in the master bedroom, which has been a total game changer for everyday living. No need to haul the laundry up and down the stairs anymore!

We finished 2023 with a bang and completed this beautiful project just in time for the holidays!

This project centered around creating a warm, inviting, and functional space for our clients. The highlight is undoubtedly the newly designed open-plan kitchen, featuring a cozy breakfast nook that seamlessly flows into the living room. The living room received a make-over with the addition of custom shelving and an elegant fireplace. The master bath was also entirely revamped, boasting a luxurious standalone bathtub and a sleek walk-in shower. In addition, a brand-new mudroom was added, complete with custom-made cubbies for organized storage. We also created a functional office space that features striking navy built-in cabinets and elegant ceiling molding, offering a perfect blend of style and productivity.

The Royal Barry Wills Cape Cod-style home, known for its steep-pitched roof, symmetrical façade, and central chimney, exudes a sense of New England charm and history. These homes were designed to be cozy, modest, and elegant, making them a beloved architectural style.

Our homeowners had a Royal Barry Wills Cape that had "great bones," but space had become a significant issue for their growing family. They were faced with the dilemma of either moving to a larger home or renovating their existing one to meet their needs. They chose the latter, deciding to preserve the character of their beloved Cape while adding the necessary space.

The primary goal of the renovation was to create more living space without compromising the home's charm. To achieve this, a second floor expansion was planned, adding a beautiful and bright master bedroom and master bath, as well as two very spacious bedrooms for the kids. The kids rooms feature large dormer windows that not only add character to the exterior of the house but also create cozy nooks and additional headroom inside.

And the finishing touch! A craftsman-style portico was added to the front entrance for protection against the elements and to give the home great curb appeal.

Open Plan Living Spaces

When our client approached us with the vision for an open plan kitchen design, it was clear that their desires went beyond aesthetics. They needed a space that was not only open and inviting but also highly functional with a lot of storage. After a deep dive into their requirements and lifestyle needs, our team set out to create a kitchen that was both stunning and super practical.

Understanding the need for multifunctional space, we introduced a design concept that boasts two islands. The first island, located at the heart of the kitchen, serves as the primary cooking station. To add a pop of color to the space, we opted for the color Mystic Lake by Benjamin Moore for the base and paired it with a white quartz countertop. The second island functions as a breakfast bar, providing a casual dining spot and doubling as a homework space for the kids. We finished this one with a solid oak wood top which pairs beautifully with the Mystic Lake color. This well-thought-out design ensures that the family can enjoy meals, socialize, and even work in one cohesive area. Additionally, the open layout enhances spatial perception, making areas appear larger and brighter due to uninterrupted light flow.

While the kitchen renovation was undoubtedly the star, we didn’t stop there. We also completely revamped the basement, installing practical composite wood flooring and adding a workout area and a spacious mudroom. The mudroom is directly attached to the garage and features carefully crafted cubbies. Each cubby is designed to house daily essentials – from coats and shoes to bags and sporting equipment – making daily comings and goings smoother and more organized.

On the second floor, the family bathroom also received a complete makeover. A sleek double vanity takes center stage, complemented by royal blue cabinets and gold fixtures.

Introducing our latest project - the perfect Carriage House Addition!

At Liberty homes, we take immense pride in crafting dream spaces for our clients, and this project holds a special place in our hearts. Our clients, wanted a separate haven to welcome their beloved parents and visitors. And voila! We transformed their vision into reality with this stunning Carriage House Addition.

The exterior of the Carriage House showcases the timeless charm of Board and Batten siding, adding character and charm to the overall design. Inside, we installed composite light wood floors to give a warm and inviting feel, and strategically placed skylights to make the space feel open and airy. And, of course, the essentials! We designed a fully equipped bathroom with modern black fixtures, complemented by 2.5 x 8 subway tile.

The Carriage House was also equipped with state-of-the-art mini splits, providing the ultimate comfort and temperature control throughout the year. Plus, we couldn't forget the garage for convenient parking and storage space!

Recently, we had the pleasure of completing a home renovation project for a client in Newton, MA. The renovation included creating a new master suite, completely remodeling the children's bathroom and adding a functional laundry room. The project was completed on time and within budget, and our client was thrilled with the results.

The first part of the project involved creating a master bedroom suite. The client wanted to create more space and we achieved this by knocking through walls and combining two smaller rooms into a larger one. We started by giving the walls a fresh coat of paint, which instantly brightened up the room. We also replaced the old windows with new ones that were more energy-efficient and easier to operate. The master bathroom was the next project on our list, and we completely renovated it from top to bottom. We installed modern grey cabinets, new porcelain tile flooring with blue veining, and new smart thermostats. The kids' bathroom was also completely gutted and renovated. Our client opted for a fun, speckled colorful tile for the floors and a glass subway tile in the bath to create a vibrant and playful environment. To provide additional storage, we built open shelving to maximize storage and maintain a modern aesthetic. Lastly, we created a dedicated laundry room which will make managing laundry tasks more efficient and enjoyable. We are incredibly proud of the results of this home renovation project, and it was a pleasure to help our client create the living space they've always dreamed of.

Renovating a home can be a daunting task, but the end result is always worth the effort! Recently, we had the pleasure of working on a first floor house renovation in Sudbury MA. The homeowners were looking to update their kitchen and bathrooms, as well as create an open plan space and we were thrilled to help bring their vision to life.

The kitchen renovation was the centerpiece of the project, and we were excited to transform the space. We started by replacing the old cabinets with off-white shaker-style cabinets. Shaker style cabinets are a popular choice because they provide clean lines and a versatile look that works well in any style kitchen. The leather finish natural stone countertops provide a durable surface that is both functional and beautiful. They are both heat and scratch resistant, making them a great option for a high-use kitchen. The matte finish of the countertops gives a subtle texture that adds depth to the kitchen design. Liberty Homes Bathroom Renovation Project

To create this spectacular bathroom remodel in Sudbury, MA our expert design team envisioned this stunning space in a 3D rendered design. Then the behind-the-scenes work began, starting with a full demo of the existing bathroom, restructuring a supporting wall, leveling the floor, and replacing the plumbing.

The windows and sliding door were then replaced and the tiling was complete, along with a heated floor. The new custom double sink vanity unit was installed, along with a new bath, new toilet, and a custom shower. All fixtures were then fitted and the bathroom was finished off with a beautiful paint job.

Liberty Homes Kitchen Renovation Project

This kitchen project required a complete overhaul of the ground floor. To create the desired open and airy space, walls were removed and heavy load structural beams were introduced, which were hidden in the ceilings. The floors in the kitchen and family areas were initially at varying heights. These were reconstructed to create a level floor throughout the downstairs living space, and new hardwood was laid throughout.

Earlier this year we completed one of our favorite Three Season Sunroom extensions to this house in Sudbury Massachusetts. Our clients asked us to help design and construct an extension to their outdoor living space.

Liberty Homes Basement Renovation Project

This unfinished basement was cold and dark, with concrete walls, concrete floors, and ineffective windows. The space was predominantly used as storage, and we were given the task of designing and building a light and airy living space for this family.

We moved water pipes and gas pipes, leveled the floor, added windows and doors, and built drainage for the half bath, and the laundry. We then introduced a bright, high-end finish, to all the woodwork, fixtures and fittings.
